Payment of Fees
All students must have pald in full at least 15 days before arrival. Tuition, accommodation or transfer details will not be confirmed until all fees have been paid in full.
Schedule
Students will be assigned to morning and/or afternoon schedules based on level, availability and operational schedules. There are no guaranteed morning-only classes.
Tuition Accommodation & Other Fees
- The $120 registration fee and the $100 accommodation arrangement fee are non-refundable.
- Where cancellations are received in writing at least 15 days before the course start date, tution, accommodation, airport transfer and insurance costs will be refunded. Note:for accommodation options not on this list, cancellation pollcles may vary.
- If a student's visa is rejected after payment has been received then tuition, accommodation, airport transfer and insurance costs will be refunded provided a visa refusal letter is reveived at least 15 days before the course is due to start.
- For tuition and accommodation cancellations received in writing less than 15 days before the course starts but before the first day of the course, students will be charged an amount equal to one week of tution and accommodation plus any canellation fees charged by the accommodation provider (up to $350, depending on the provider) and any airport transfer or insurance costs. All other tuition and accommodation costs will be refunded.
- An administrative fee of $100 may be applied to any course or accommodation changes after a place has been confirmed. This fee does not apply to course extensions.
- After arrival, four weeks' notice is required to change or cancel tuition, accommodation, airport transfer or insurance.
- 2 business days' notice is required for any changes to the designated arrival time. Failure to notify IHNY of any such changes may result in a failure to be picked up and/or loss of airport transfer fees.
- IHNY reserve the right to expel any student from classes or accommodation whose conduct is clearly ussatisfactory.
- IHNY will make all refunds within 28 days to the person or agency that paid the invoice.
- All 20-lesson programs are 18 Teaching Hours (a Teaching Hour is 50 minutes) in length.
Insurance
Every student must have appropriate medical insurance. IHNY recommends using Global Guard Insurance (www.guard.me) and offer their insurance for $2/day. Students not wishing to take Global Guard Insurance must present an equivalent insurance certificate on arrival.
